My Experience

For over 18 years, I have provided supervision. In the beginning, I supervised graduate interns who were working towards their graduate degree in social work. Then, I provided clinical supervision as part of my full time job in a hospital clinic. I was lucky to have great supervisors throughout my career and I am committed to providing clinical supervision for the next generation of social workers. My experience includes working with survivors of trauma at all ages. working with individuals diagnosed with anxiety and depression. My current focus is working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression or PTSD/

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You must be a LMSW in the State of Texas. In addition, we will review your job description to make sure it is clinical in nature. You will have to have permission from your employer to conduct supervision with me. 100 hours is required to be completed in 24 months. It averages out to 4 hours a month.

  • I offer individual supervision and group supervision virtually.

  • We’ll schedule a free consult so we can both learn about your expectations in supervision and I’ll share my expectations. If we decide to work together, we’ll get started as soon as we can.

  • Texas requires a LMSW to complete 100 hours of clinical supervision in no less than 24 months. We will meet a minimum of 4 hours per month. Individual will be once a week and group supervision will be 2 hours twice a month.

  • Collaborative, practical, and encouraging. We'll work through case conceptualization and treatment planning, ethics and Texas licensing rules, documentation and risk management, and your professional goals. I also make room for the human side of this work, including how it affects you. You'll leave sessions feeling supported, not scrutinized.

  • The investment is $75.00 per hour for individual supervision and $50.00 per hour for group supervision. All sessions will held virtually.

  • We will cover the following information: values and ethics, confidentiality, clinical assessment and intervention. There will be an emphasis on diagnosis, assessment and some test preparation.
